Carola Speads

Good breathing teachers live extra long lives. Carola Speads, RPT a student of the Ilsa Gindler school of dance in Germany,  quietly taught breathing work for 82 years. She passed away in 1999 nearly 99 years old in New York City and was still working 3 months before she passed. She was and is in my opinion a leading example of a breathing coaches ability to live long lives, stay at the simple heart of the matter and not get lost in the glitz of energetic zeal and overload which is often the source for so many of stress and distancing from one's inner self.

Her work as handed down to me through her book Ways To Better Breathing  and in person sessions with Margaret Leong, RPT, the only person to have joined her in multiple person workshops. She addresses the very foundation of the breath; what I call the Natural Breathing Reflex. Breathing the breath of life into man was a gift straight from God.

Thank you Carola and Margaret.
