My name is Randall Langston. I have a
Doctor of Medicine degree from University of Miami, Fl. I am a Board
Certified Otolaryngologist (Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist.) I am nearly
70 years old I am retired after 30 years private practice in ENT and
Allergy. I am also retired from the US Naval Reserve. I have had
training in Maharishi Ayurveda at Maharishi University of Management in
Fairfield, Iowa.
I have had a long interest in Complementary
Alternative Medicine and used it while in practice. But now I have found
the missing link to all of this which is breathing as presented by Mike
White and the Optimal Breathing School. It has been become so obvious that
every "condition" is made better or worse by how we breathe. I have had
some severe breathing challenges myself and did not know there was any
permanent help available until I met Mike through Breathing.com and
began the program. I am working with it daily and am happy with my steady
progress.
During my last two years of practice I had
the opportunity to work at Eglin Air Force Base with VA and young active
duty patients. One of the problems that defied logic was obstructive
sleep apnea which can be found at any age. Now I realize that breathing
properly is the missing link. Also severe voice problems such as spasmodic dysphonia can be made better with breathing training. Our only other
therapy for SD is Botox which works well but unfortunately only about four months.
My goal is to assist people from a truly
global approach to health through correction of Unbalanced Dysfunctional Breathing, diet, exercise, herbs and
supplements where appropriate and referral for other modalities such as
massage' Rolfing, Chiropractic, Acupuncture etc. Yes, there will be
times when people will need appropriate referrals for conventional
therapies. If your arm is broken you would not go to the health food
store would you?
Basically I view myself as a health
counselor, coach, and triage person helping people in an eclectic
approach to life. And most importantly with emphasis on the spiritual
development. The OBDSA-1&2 course was outstanding. I learned more in 3 days then I have in years. The course was clear and concise. I think this knowledge really needs to get out to the world. Email from client related to proposed surgery. Subject: Fwd: Re: deviated septum surgery mike Asked Dr. Langston: His reply follows. Hi Mike
